Who should go?Every OA member in Section W-1N is welcome to attend. We want youth and adults to come-- there are activities for everyone.
When and where is it?April 29-May1, 2011 at Colony High School located at 905 E Colony Schools Drive, Palmer, AK 99645. (907) 861-5500. Plan to arrive on Friday between 6 pm and 9 pm (before the Opening Show) and to leave on Sunday by 11 am.
How much does it cost?The $35.00 weekend fee for pre-registered members covers a weekend of food, from Friday Crackerbarrel to Sunday Breakfast. It also covers all activities throughout the entire weekend. New arrowmen only pay $30; registration at the door is $50.
Do I need to bring anything?The Section will be planning on accommodating participants from outside Alaska indoors. Plan on bringing your identification for the airplane, thermarest/pad, sleeping bag, pillow, rain gear, hat, plenty of warm clothing to stay dry, warm socks, flashlight, daypack, notebook and pens/pencils, spending money (for the attractions and the trading post), patches (for trading), full uniform and OA sash and a fun attitude. A donation of $50 in patches or memorabilia to the Section Auction on Saturday will entitle you to a special border of our Conclave Patch.
Looking for accommodations near Colony High School?This is my first Conclave... I deserve special treatment!We agree! If this will be your first Conclave, we want to invite you to a special gathering at Conclave.
Can I be on staff?Of course! We're always looking for staff members and Service Corps members. For more information, contact your Lodge Chief or Lodge Adviser.
Will there be a religious service?Yes, there will be a Scout's Own Service before your departure on Sunday.
