2011 Conclave Training Class Schedule

This year marks the 11th year of Teaquan Wask University. At Conclave, you will have the opportunity attend three courses and earn a degree in the college of your choice. If this is your first year in the program, you can earn an Associate Degree in any of the colleges outlined below by taking two 100 level courses from your college, and an elective (any other course). If have earned an Associate Degree, you can earn a Bachelors Degree in any of the colleges by taking two 200 level courses from your college and an elective. If you have earned a Bachelors Degree, you can earn a Masters degree by taking two 300 level course from your college and an elective. If you have earned a Masters degree, you can earn a Doctorate by taking the doctorate preparation course the previous year, completing your doctoral project, and helping train or training a course at Conclave. With every degree you earn, you will receive a diploma with a special edition TWU patch with a different border color for every degree. Our four colleges are described below and thank you for choosing Teaquan Wask University.

College for New Arrowmen (CNA)

The College of New Arrowmen is designed for new Arrowmen that are Ordeal members of the OA. Courses offered in this college include learning about the general structure of the OA and preparing participants for earning their Brotherhood. Only the Associate Degree and Bachelors Degree may be earned from the CNA. The Associate Degree is earned your first year at Conclave, and the Bachelors Degree can be earned if you return the following year with your Brotherhood.

College of Ceremonies and Crafts (CCC)

The College of Ceremonies and Crafts is designed for those Arrowmen who are currently active or interested in ceremonies, dance, and/or regalia. Courses offered in this college include enhancing yourself and your ceremony team's performance, regalia creation, and learning dance. Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees may be earned.

College of Outdoor Adventure (COA)

The College of Outdoor Adventure is designed for those Arrowmen interested in outdoor activities. Courses offered in this college include rock climbing and other high adventure activities, backpacking/hiking, wilderness survival, bicycling, and other outdoor adventures. Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees may be earned.

College of Lodge and Chapter Leadership (CLL)

The College of Lodge and Chapter Leadership is designed for those Arrowmen who are interested in becoming or are currently serving as a lodge or chapter officer. Courses offered in this college include preparing for becoming an officer, working with youth and adults, enhancing your activities, building a strong chapter, and improving brotherhood conversion. Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees may be earned.

General Studies (GS)

A General Studies degree may be earned by taking any three courses from the University at Conclave. Only an Associate degree may be earned in the field of General Studies.

TWU Honorary Doctorate Degree

Established at the 2000 Conclave, Section W-1B has ran the Teaquan Wask University (TWU) as part of the Conclave Training Committee.  This is a four year program designed to educate Conclave participants on the many aspects of the Order of the Arrow.  The program has four degrees that participants can earn, Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, and Doctorates Degree.  There is also an Honorary Doctorate Degree that the Section Chief, in consultation with the Section Adviser, can bestow on deserving Arrowmen that have provided exemplary service to the program.
